2. These terms
By using this website and placing an order, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use the site. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
3. Placing an order
When you place an order you’ll receive an acknowledgement email confirming we’ve received it. This is not acceptance of your order. A binding contract is formed only when we confirm dispatch of your goods. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order, for example, if an item is out of stock or there’s a pricing error, in which case we’ll refund any payment in full.
4. Pricing & payment
- All prices are shown in pounds sterling (£). We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged and none is shown on your invoice.
- Delivery costs are shown separately at checkout before you pay.
- We take reasonable care to price products correctly, but if we find an error we’ll let you know and give you the option to reorder at the correct price or cancel.
- Payment is taken at the time you place your order, through our secure payment provider.
5. Products
We do our best to describe and picture our products accurately. Natural materials like wood vary in grain and tone, so slight differences between batches and between the photos and the item you receive are normal and not a fault. Please make sure a product suits your intended use before ordering; message us if you’re unsure.
6. Delivery
We deliver across the UK and offer local collection from Manchester. Delivery timescales are estimates. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery (or collection). Full details, options and costs are on our Delivery & returns page, which forms part of these terms.
7. Cancellations & returns
As a consumer buying online you generally have the right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, plus our own extended returns window. Some items, such as cut, fitted or made-to-measure goods, are excluded unless faulty. Please see our Delivery & returns page for how this works and how to start a return.
8. Faulty goods & your rights
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If something we’ve supplied is faulty or not as described, you’re entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. Contact us as soon as you notice a problem.
9. Our liability
We don’t exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud. Otherwise, we’re not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for losses arising from incorrect measuring or unsuitable installation. Our total liability for any order is limited to the price paid for that order.
10. Trade orders
Different terms may apply to trade and business customers. If you buy on a trade account, the terms agreed with you at the time will apply alongside these where relevant.
11. Intellectual property
The content on this website, including text, images, logos and design, belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
