How it works
1. Apply as you sign up
Create your account and pick Trade instead of Personal. We ask for your company or trading name, what you do, and your VAT number if you have one.
2. We review it by hand
A real person checks every application, usually within one working day. Your account works from the moment you create it, so you can order at our standard prices in the meantime.
3. Trade pricing switches on
Once you're approved, your trade price appears alongside the standard price as you browse, and it comes off automatically at checkout. There is no code to remember.
Applying costs nothing and commits you to nothing. There is no minimum spend, no monthly fee and no obligation to order.
Applying for an account
Head to create your account and choose Trade at the top of the form. Alongside your name, email and password we’ll ask for:
- Company or trading name. Sole traders are welcome, your trading name is fine.
- What you do. Fitting, building and development, design, retail or property management.
- VAT number, if you have one. Optional, plenty of our trade customers aren’t VAT registered.
Submitting the form creates your account straight away and sends the application to us for review. You can shop, save products and place orders at our standard prices while you wait.
Review & approval
We check applications by hand rather than approving everyone automatically, which is why it takes a little time and why the trade prices you see are real. We aim to come back to you within one working day. You can see where your application stands at any time on your account overview: it will show as under review, active, or not approved.
If we can’t approve an application, your account carries on working exactly as normal at our standard prices. It isn’t a black mark and it isn’t permanent, so if your circumstances change, or you think we’ve got it wrong, just tell us and we’ll take another look.
Once you’re approved
- Your trade price is shown next to the standard price on product pages and listings, so you always know what something costs you.
- The discount is applied to your basket automatically. There is no code to enter and nothing to ask for at checkout.
- It applies across the range, flooring, wall panels and accessories alike.
- Delivery works exactly as it does for everyone else, including free collection from our Manchester warehouse. See delivery & returns.
- Every order stays in your account history, so repeat jobs are easy to re-order and pass on to a client.
Already have an account with us?
The application form is part of signing up, so if you already have a personal account there’s no button to press. Message us on WhatsApp or use the contact form with your account email and company name, and we’ll put your application into the same review queue.
Common questions
Do I need to be VAT registered?
No. The VAT field is optional and we approve sole traders and small firms that aren’t registered.
Is there a minimum order?
No. Trade pricing applies from the first item, and there’s no monthly minimum to keep the account.
Can I buy on account or on credit terms?
Not through the website. Orders are paid for at checkout in the usual way. If you’re planning something large or ongoing, talk to us and we’ll see what we can do.
I need help specifying a job.
That’s what we’re here for. Send us the room sizes and what you’re trying to achieve and we’ll help you get the quantities right. We can also put homeowners in touch with a fitter through our fitting service.
